Polymarket has been hacked. Today’s exploit targeted the UMA CTF Adapter on Polygon, which is used to resolve prediction markets through UMA’s oracle system. So far, more than ~$520k has been drained. At the moment, this does NOT appear to be a mass hack of regular user wallets, the main impact seems to be on the protocol/oracle side. Personally, I’ve already withdrawn the funds I’m not willing to risk losing. I still think this will likely get resolved, but in crypto you can never be too careful. Revoke old approvals, secure your wallets, and stay safe. My take is airdrop is likely but the play shouldn’t be grinding discord roles or holding USDC passively, it won't get you there. Team says that, 60% of ARC supply is going to ecosystem incentives, that's straight from the whitepaper, so builders and early users eat first not holders/roles. Best strategy is to get on the testnet now and pile up onchain activity before mainnet this summer.
