None of us knows how much time we have. My hope is to one day pass this handle on to someone who will always place the country above politics and personal ideology, so that even after my death, there will still be a voice here speaking for the nation 🇧🇩.

Bakul Mahbub is a long-time Benapole correspondent for Bangladesh Pratidin and News24, and a former General Secretary of the Benapole Press Club. In my view, some Bangladeshi journalists are no different from the pr$titu£es, both are willing to sleep with anyone for money.

An Indian Air Force AN-32 has crashed in Jorhat, Assam. This is the sixth aircraft crash involving the Indian armed forces this year, as of the sixth month.
Another Indian Air Force fighter jet has crashed in Pune, marking the second such incident this year after a Su-30 crash. Repeated crashes expose serious flaws in the IAF’s maintenance & training.A force that can’t keep its aircraft in the air has no business projecting strength

India’s new envoy said that combining India’s 1.4 billion people with Bangladesh’s 200 million would create a 1.6 billion-strong global power. If that ever happens, it should be under Bangladesh’s flag 🇧🇩, with the name Bangladesh and governance based in Dhaka.

BSF has offered Bangladesh help to stop illegal push-ins (which they themselves are carrying out) and has even proposed joint patrols with BGB to prevent them. I mean, what the hell? 🤣 The same side carrying out push-ins now wants joint patrols to stop them, the irony is unreal

Even people in border areas understand that illegal push-ins from India cannot be accepted. For a small country with limited capacity, the burden is real. Yet those sitting in air-conditioned rooms in Dhaka, holding piles of degrees, why don’t they understand this?
