About a million quid worth of packages sitting in vans in A Post waiting to be processed. They are overwhelmed. People will be looking for refunds for items that seem lost but will probably get delivered eventually. They’ll probably get the refunds too.

I haven’t seen a postman since before Christmas. I know the collapse of Fastway has added more pressure but surely there should have been a massive recruitment drive. The rise of Vinted has also added to the pressure. Are you still waiting for a package from weeks ago?

Back in 2000 we “buried” (in the attic) a Time Capsule. Rather than wait for the ungrateful and oblivious future generations to open it, we opened it on Christmas Eve 2025. Let’s see what was in it
