Agree this may be more evident on systems with higher resolution such as the new digital PET scanners. This case seems to be deep breathing motion as opposed to patient body motion. Did you compare with the cardiofreeze dual images?
This is particularly more apparent on ‘digital PET’

#CVNuc #thinkPET Artifacts by James Case ✏️ PET always attenuation and scatter corrected, dont call diaphragm or breast artifact; dont call ramp filter artifact ✏️ Artifacts: from blood pool clearance issues--> check coronal/sagittal images--> solution: rebin after delay.
