Being told Ryan Richman, the former Wizards assistant, has signed a deal to become the new head coach of Alvark Tokyo in the Japanese B.League Premier. After leaving Washington to lead SeaHorses Mikawa to three-straight playoff appearances, Richman was sought after by half a dozen teams and a few NBA assistant opportunities before agreeing with Alvark, widely regarded as Asia’s most coveted head coaching position.

Will be interesting to see also how access is limited/restricted for those who don't align with his thinking (assuming he had any actual organic thoughts about public ed, which he doesn't). Will def coincide with cuts to the DoE/curricular changes in K-12. The hypocrisy is wild.

After 17 NBA seasons, Rudy Gay is retiring. Gay, the No. 8 pick in the 2006 Draft out of UConn, averaged 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds across 1,120 career games for the Grizzlies, Raptors, Kings, Spurs and Jazz.
