Today, together with the Co-Presidents of the Group of the Unified European Left (UEL) in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the Honorary President of PACE, and members of the group's executive delegation, we held a series of meetings in Diyarbakır.
In this context, we met with the Peace Mothers and held discussions with municipal co-mayors, including those who were replaced trustees.
During the meetings, we discussed the impact of trustee policies on local democracy and expectations regarding the Peace and Democratic Society process.

Heyet Dış İlişkilerden Sorumlu Eş Genel Başkan Yardımcımız Ebru Günay, Grup Başkanvekilimiz Sezai Temelli ve Dış ilişkiler Koordinatörü Evren Çevik tarafından karşılandı.
Görüşmede Almanya-Türkiye ilişkileri ile bölgesel gelişmelerin yanı sıra çözüm sürecinin gidişatıyla bölgesel etkileri, CHP ve muhalefetin geneline yönelik baskılar üzerine görüş alışverişinde bulunuldu.
Kayyım politikalarının devamı, siyasetçilerin hukuksuz tutukluluğu ve bunun karşısında AİHM kararlarının uygulanmaması konusunda partimizin yaklaşımları aktarıldı.

The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O’Flaherty, presented his 2025 annual activity report at yesterday’s session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and answered questions.
I asked Mr. O’Flaherty why the situation of decree laws (KHKs) and the Academics for Peace, an unresolved human rights issue for a decade affecting hundreds of thousands of lives, was not included at all in the Turkey section of the report.
