From what I can work out (not an accountant) ACC Ltd. runs at a loss of £0.5m pa. While paying directors (maybe Joe, maybe not) a quarter of a million pounds.
And if the company goes bust? The City, via the Council, is liable for all debts. That's us.

Because violence is a social justice, not criminal justice issue. You don't solve the problem of violent crime by throwing more police at the problem. It requires a long-term, sustained focus on social, economic, cultural and political change.
