30 elections bills have passed this session w/ more down the line.
This crackdown on 3rd parties disenfranchises voters (as there is a growing interest in 3rd parties), consolidates power by the controlling state party, & is ultimately detrimental to our democracy as we know it.

And yet the drinking age is 21, supposedly because young people show less than stellar judgment.

The Florida House, this weekend, passed a measure that would lower the minimum age to purchase a rifle and other long guns in the state from 21 to 18.
This basically acts as a repeal of a law passed following the 2018 Parkland mass shooting, in which a 19-year-old killed 17 people at a school.
You'd think that as mass shootings continue to rise, politicians would at least not make things even easier for young shooters to purchase weapons that can cause mass death.
How is allowing teenagers to purchase AR-15's making America better?Β How is this making us safer?
