@RCTMbararaCity gave me an opportunity to serve as President for one Rotary year. Well, I accepted and walked a journey of leadership that took the club from the most congested bottom to the very spacious top and emerged as the President of the Year in the entire @RotaractD9214.

I think the owl was hooting because of the corruption in Uganda. The Bachwezi are very angry because of that. All those involved in the Mabati saga should lose their jobs.

On top of stealing government funds for 'Mabati' for the Karimojong. Can you imagine? They claim they have 'Extraordinary' finances to fight us. Well, we say we come against them in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God!

I am a Civil Servant with 26 years of service. Using the existing legal framework under the Whistleblowers Protection Act, 2010, I reported corruption within my Ministry to the Inspector General of Government on 22nd November 2022 and later to the Criminal Investigations Directorate in May 2023. Following these disclosures, one of the Ministers in the Ministry of Works and Transport openly stated that I would be “benched” for reporting my superiors to the IGG. Despite my persistence, including repeated follow‑ups with both CID and the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, no meaningful action has been taken. If Civil Servants who dare to whistle blow are punished and sidelined for years, what incentive remains for others to act in defense of integrity? I am 70% certain that my interdiction was orchestrated under ministerial instruction, possibly reinforced by external officials misled into believing I am merely a rebellious officer. Instead I was interdicted. Which in itself is illegal. This narrative is false. For 20 years of service, no one ever accused me of insubordination, incompetence, or rebellion. On the contrary, I consistently ranked among the highest‑performing Civil Servants, until the moment I began questioning the misuse of money and the abuse of power. So PO 002 one of the best ways you can kick off this term by showing commitment, arrest the person I reported. Prosecute him. I will bring you 50 Witnesses. Senior High Level Staff in the Ministry. Otherwise this will just be another term of lip service
To multiply a country’s economy tenfold, you need at least energy and infrastructure. In each of those critical areas, the performance of the Ugandan state is characterized by gross incompetence. I do not see how we can achieve that - @AndrewMwenda #UBCBehindtheHeadlines

Thank you Hon. for this humane gesture. Many people in the comment wondering how a visually impaired person uses a laptop. Job Access With Speech(JAWS) software designed for blind or visually impaired users converts screen content into speech enabling access to apps and document
On Monday 24th March, NTV aired a news story about Bernard Ampaire, a visually impaired student at Makerere University. He was recently robbed of his belongings including a laptop, upkeep money and other property in his room at Nsibirwa hall by people who took advantage of his inability to see. This unfortunate incident has greatly hampered his life and studies in the past few days. We visited him this morning, extended some support and got him a laptop so he can continue with his studies. We thank NTV for these human-interest stories, and we wish Bernard all the best in his studies. Below is a link to the story that was aired by NTV youtu.be/Bfzs9Yesj20?si=GWyq…
