Christian Ruebeck, welcome to AA Tulsa, and welcome BACK to the state of Oklahoma. Ruebeck is from Dension, Texas, which is just about 1 mile from the Oklahoma border, and he went to OU, so he'll feel right at home in Tulsa, then especially, and eventually with OKC. Ruebeck was an undrafted Free Agent, but has one of the most electric arms of any pitcher, anywhere, at any level. It's the control/command thing that is the focus, and while it's still not a mastered piece in his arsenal, he is showing improvement over time. Year-over-year control trend 2023 BB/9: 10.38 2024 BB/9: 8.49 2025 BB/9: 7.57 2026 BB/9 4.50 (Just 2 innings) He also posted his best strike-throwing efficiency as a pro last year at .590, and he threw more overall strikes last year than in any other year in his professional career.
