Cherry Creek Trail Detour | Now through May 2026
Due to construction of a new outfall, the Cherry Creek Trail will be detoured onto a temporary asphalt path in this location between Colorado Boulevard and Cherry St. Please slow down and use caution moving through the area.

A section of the South Platte River Trail (between the Weir Gulch Trail and W 13th Ave) will be closed for Xcel utility work . Please follow the detour along the new streets in the Sun Valley Neighborhood.

TRAIL DETOUR | May 13, 2025: For the remainder of the week, a section of the South Platte River Trail from the Broncos Stadium Bridge to the Bridge near REI at Confluence Park is temporarily closed while @DenverDOTI works to repair a broken pipe across the trail.
