Butler was the UFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 and 2026. He was a 4th-round pick in 2019 out of Iowa State.

Jonathon Cooper is in court now.
The DA has proposed a bond of $5,000, given Cooper's violation of a protection order with his girlfriend "a matter of days ago."
Cooper's attorney Harvey Steinberg countered that Cooper "did not have a no-contact order."

Solomon ruled Cooper must sign a protection order before his release and ordered "no new offenses while on bond."
Ruled Cooper must have prior court approval before traveling outside of Colorado. Could come into play in August when Broncos' preseason schedule begins.

According to affidavit obtained by @denverpost for Jonathon Cooper's arrest last night, his former girlfriend called police after Cooper knocked on her door for "5-10" minutes and also repeatedly called and texted her.
Officers arrested Cooper at his apartment later Thursday.

Jonathon Cooper was arrested last night at 6:17pm by Parker police and booked at Douglas County Sherrif’s Office at 10:07pm.
He was charged with four counts, including two domestic violence and and two misdemeanors: harassment - repeated phone calls and violation of a protection order - civil.
He is set to appear in court this morning at 8:30am.
