But that's only half the battle won. For India and Indians to look and feel global - create a more vibrant society and an enriched lifestyle - we need a massive movement on building walkable streets across India.

Excellent idea! In fact, had it been humanly possible, I'd adopt every hungry, homeless street animal!
Since I can't here's what I and my Deccan volunteer group have done - each has adopted between 1 and 6 street dogs, got 100s adopted to good families and gotten >4k dogs sterlized over 10 years so that people like you don't get traumatized by the sight of dogs on the streets.
In return, can we kindly request you to show some compassion to a living creature struggling to survive in a hostile world? If that's too much to ask, can you just ignore their presence please? There are humane ways of dealing with the occasional problem dog, all you have to do is call the local NGO or volunteer. 🙏

An older gentleman asked a rickshaw driver not to spit in public. He got beaten up for it.
Thats where we are now.
Spit on the road, break traffic rules, ride on the wrong side, jump signals & if someone dares to object, respond with abuse, threats, or violence.
The rule breaker are empowered. The citizen asking for basic civic behaviour gets punished.

(Watch till the end) Many of you who have travelled with me are already familiar with this, but I wanted to share this video from Manas National park for everyone’s awareness.
Rhinos, hippos, and gaurs are extremely powerful and unpredictable animals. While our guides sometimes get a bit adventurous and approach them closely, I would strongly recommend maintaining a safe distance unless you have a deep understanding of their behaviour.
And in the unlikely event that one of these animals charges at your vehicle, please do not jump out of the jeep. They are usually targeting the vehicle, not the passengers. Jumping out can isolate you and draw their attention directly to you. Staying inside the vehicle is by far the safest option.
This is also why wearing camouflage clothing is so important in the jungle, something many people tend to overlook.
Stay safe and enjoy the wildlife responsibly!

The lack of transparency in a so-called "democracy" is appalling.
@PetroleumMin now disposes my RTI appeal that they've fulfilled my request by forwarding my query to different agencies. WOW. And to top it off, the ministry points back to the same roadmap document in which @siamindia clearly says that e20 in older vehicles is a safety risk in addition to being detrimental to efficiency. The document clearly says that e10 should be available till the existing fleet is aged out.
And yet e20 has been forced on the entire population based on some imaginary test results.
If this isn't a SCAM, I don't know what is.

The #E20 fuel cover-up is clearly a full-blown scam. Check out this coordinated stonewalling from the Govt and OMCs:
1️⃣ Ministry of Petroleum sat on the RTI for 2 months, then shuffled it away.
2️⃣ ARAI claims the actual testing data is a "confidential" state secret.
3️⃣ HPCL & BPCL shut down the RTI, hilariously claiming that asking for a physical report is "seeking an opinion."
4️⃣ IOCL just replied by pointing me to the generic NITI Aayog roadmap already in the public domain—completely dodging the actual test reports.
They are playing bureaucratic games because the truth is terrifying: SIAM's own official stance warns that putting E20 in incompatible vehicles isn't just about losing mileage - it is a massive safety risk.
There are no hidden success reports. The Ministry lied in their press release, the OMCs are complicit, and millions of Indian motorists are being forced to drive ticking time bombs on a ghost policy @HindustanPetroleum @BPCLimited @IndianOilcl @PetroleumMin @siamindia @arai_india @HardeepSPuri
