There’s a reason Flick, Nagelsmann and Tuchel all moved to national teams right after Bayern.

Every stadium we've seen in the USA so far has looked incredible. Credit where it's due.

Markus Krösche is joining A.C Milan? Such a smart move, Milan is getting one of the best at it.

Our new Swiss Army knife. A player who can cover multiple positions, with a huge engine and a natural ability to generate chances with his movement. Born to press, defend, and score. There are still areas to improve, but he fits Kompany's Bayern.

Adds a lot of threat and energy off the bench, something we've been missing at times. This false N9 role with Morocco is also helping him get used to playing alone up front.

It’s really poor what the Netherlands have been producing in attack over the last 15 years. A nation built on attacking football and some of the greatest forwards in history, Cruyff, Van Basten, Bergkamp, Van Nistelrooy, yet you’re left wondering how it drifted to this point.

Struggled to walk during his childhood, faced weight issues, fought his way through it all to the top of football. Make me proud at Bayern, Ismael and welcome to Munich! 🇲🇦🫶

Germans should avoid too much negativity online and over-criticism. The performance wasn’t perfect, but the win was incredibly important. This generation needed to break that curse, to win big, win comfortably, and build confidence. Back them, push them, don’t over-analyse it.

7 goals and yes, not the biggest opponent, and not everyone was at the required level, but that’s fine. Argentina lost their opener last W.C, it's only one game, most teams either improve or weaken from here, but I believe this is a squad that can improve a lot.

This is how Germany announces itself. 🇩🇪 Welcome back, four-time champions.
Best possible XI on paper. Germany need a big win, that's usually how they announce themselves on the World Cup stage. I expect a festival of goals, anything less would be a disappointment.

Germany are a bit fortunate to start against a relatively inexperienced opponent, but the rest defence is not good enough. Germany can and will grow into the competition, I believe but they must improve OOP.
Thoughts on the first half? 🇩🇪 vs. 🇨🇼

Germany cannot allow themselves to slow down. They’ve started fast in previous World Cups and still collapsed. Must score the second, the third, and kill the game early.

Nmecha is the Sahin's Gravenberch—a metamorphosis of a player with all the tools to excel in an N6 role but previously misused. If he keeps this up, his spot next to Pavlovic in the German NT is a lock. x.com/Tactics2024/status/177…
