Turnback Tuesday: Derby Savings Bank. Started in 1846, 168 Main Street, Derby. 11 years later, moved to the Main/Caroline Sts. In 1923, moved to Main/Olivia Sts. Finally in 1976, to Main/Elizabeth Sts, where Derby City Hall is today. Image is a coin bank given to customers.

Turnback Tuesday remembers the Derby Red Raiders of 1985. The team was CT Class “S” State Football Champions with a record of 10 Wins and 2 Losses. We're sure you'll recognize the names/faces of these distinguished champions. This plaque was graciously donated to DPL.
