I do start to wonder that tumors which are not readily recognizable will soon be triaged into āexpression panelsā (IHC) or molecular panels (NGS), but possibly not both?!? Thoughts? #dermpathjc

Yes. Variable biology tho, it seems. It some soft tissue tumors, there is variability in biology based on whether there is rearrangement vs amplification, but not enough is know about these

Hello #dermpathJC. Small vessel vasculitic pattern reactions following #COVID19 vaccination in 4 patients was also described in a case series published in the BJD. (Un)fortunately, only 12% of the 405 cases from the series had histology for review.

they have 803 vaccine reactions reported, 58 (7%) cases had biopsy done. The most common histopathologic reaction pattern was spongiotic dermatitis, which clinically ranged from robust papules with overlying crust, to PR-like eruptions, to pink papules with fine scale.#dermpathJC

I was very curious with the development of injection site bullous pemphigoid with positive DIF studies. Noticed these were elderly patients. Will these go on to develop full blown BP? #dermpathJC
