I’ve been working on a new chapter for my upcoming DuckDB book (duckdb.gishub.org), focusing on large-scale geospatial analytics. As part of the chapter, I generated an H3 heatmap of 2.5 billion global building footprints from Overture Maps, all processed efficiently with DuckDB.
