You can read our newest paper in @SciReports! A team led by grad students @karesamy and Liz Levy present a 3D in vitro model of the small intestine that better replicates in vivo conditions and matures faster than conventional 2D models. Take a look! nature.com/articles/s41598-0…

Also, in collaboration with the Abate lab at @UCSF_BioE, we were able to engineer structures using the caco-2 cells that better matches their behavior in animals, which has not been previously possible 5/6
