We have noticed confusion and misinformation regarding DeshiChain’s username changes, origin, team, and identity.
This message is to officially clarify the facts.
Built in Bangladesh🇧🇩
DeshiChain is a 100% Bangladeshi-origin blockchain project.
It represents the vision and emotion of a Bangladeshi founder who wants to see Bangladesh recognized in the global blockchain industry.
Through DeshiChain, we aim to proudly showcase Bangladesh’s innovation to the world.
While our roots are in Bangladesh, our future is global.
We plan to establish international hubs and a global headquarters as DeshiChain grows worldwide.
The founder, vision, concept, architecture, development, and leadership all originate from Bangladesh.
So DeshiChain is not an Indian project, and no Indian individuals are involved in the core team, founding team, employment, or internal operations.

Some users noticed that DeshiChain’s official X (Twitter) usernames were changed multiple times.
This happened because:
▪️ Our previous accounts were hacked during our early TMA airdrop phase
▪️ Our Telegram community was compromised
▪️ We had to rebuild and secure all official channels
▪️ During re-organization, our marketing team selected temporary usernames
▪️ Later, we standardized all community usernames under our official domain identity
For full transparency, we have shared our X username change history in PDF format with this announcement.
These changes were made for brand protection, security, and platform availability not to hide our identity.

This is exactly why DeFi needs better UX and stronger safeguards.
User freedom is important, but protection layers are equally critical.
Statement from CoW Protocol:
Earlier today, a trader attempted to swap 50M aEthUSDT for aEthAAVE through Aave's swap interface, which is powered by CoW Protocol. Despite clear warnings that showed the user they would lose nearly all of the value of their transaction, and despite needing to explicitly opt into the trade after seeing the warning, the user chose to proceed with their swap.
It is important to point out that CoW Protocol is a DEX aggregator that routes transactions through nearly every major public and private liquidity source. No DEX, DEX aggregator, public liquidity pool, or private liquidity pool (or combination thereof) would have been able to fill this trade at anywhere near a reasonable price.
Preventing users from making trades removes choice and can lead to terrible outcomes in some situations (e.g. a market crash). That said, trades like these show that DeFi UX still isn’t where it needs to be to protect all users. As a team, we are now reviewing how we balance strong safeguards with preserving user autonomy.
It goes without saying that we will also refund any fees sent to CoW DAO as a result of this transaction.
We will keep the community posted as new information comes to light.
