A few years ago I designed the original logo for @DesignTokens. Recently they asked me to refresh it: simpler, more versatile, and blue (the original color of links). The new logo builds on the old one, keeping the connected core while refining it for any size or use.

I envision the same world but an even broader one. A design API that would power tokens and assets everywhere within an org design system.
Tokens and assets should navigate freely between teams and tools.
Why is this exciting?
Personally, I can see a world where we manage cross functional variables with Figma JSON, feeding them into tools where our XFN teams work

Variables functionality isn't 1:1 with the spec, and no native support .tokens.json file import/export (yet), but they're *not* on different paths.🧵
