someone translated one of my fics, and not using google translate. like line by line, swapping out into using chinese idioms etc.
oomf said this would have taken HOURS. the fic has been up for days and has 20 kudos.

this is so true. some of my favourite fics have less than 1k kudos (some less than 500) and a lot of people won't give them a chance just because they see the "low" number and think it's not worth it.
