NL West: 1) LAD 2) SD - WC Berth 3) SF 4) ARI 5) COL This division feels set in stone. LAD vs. SD will be a dogfight. None of the other three are ready to be playoff challengers. Will COL blow it up?

LAD v NYY World Series, with LAD repeating as champions. AL MVP - Mike Trout NL MVP - Fernando Tatis AL Cy - Lucas Giolito NL Cy - Corbin Burnes AL ROY - Tarik Skubal NL ROY - Ian Anderson Trade that makes a difference: COL trades Trevor Story to NYY at the deadline.
AL Central: 1) CWS 2) MIN 3) CLE 4) DET 5) KC Chicago has lots of volatility, but I think they get the job done. Keep an eye on Detroit. They might shock some people (they remind me of 2015 HOU). I don't think they make the playoffs, but they'll compete.

AL West: 1) LAA 2) HOU - WC Berth 3) OAK 4) SEA 5) TEX LAA will finally get the P they need w/Ohtani staying healthy along w/Heaney, Canning, Bundy, etc. They finally have the pitching to support Trout & Co. HOU still has enough to win a WC spot, but a retool is on the horizon.

That leads me to conclude that, since LMJ is one yr younger, he will sign a deal that is one yr longer than Wheeler. McCullers is probably pushing for Wheeler AAV while HOU is prob pushing for Ryu AAV. Which brings us to that initial valuation btwn 5-yrs, $100M & 6-yrs, $132M
