During Operation Sindoor, I protested Anuradha Bhasin’s continuous anti-India propaganda in an international media group, and as a result I was removed from that group. In the SAWM group, several well-known journalists — including Patricia Mukhim and Swati Bhattacharya — defended Bhasin. After removing me, their statement was that I was removed for my “misconduct.”
I openly challenged them to make public the chats from that group from April 22 onwards, if they have the courage.
That group basically serves an agenda of covering up the actions of the Bhasins. Whenever they come under scanner, four or five people prepare a statement supporting the Bhasins and issue it. The rest fall in line, whether out of fear for their jobs or otherwise. And some greedy journalists keep quiet even on anti-national posts, hoping that someday they will get a free foreign trip.
If protesting anti-national propaganda is considered “misconduct,” then I will proudly continue to commit that “offence.”
