A year of protest against the federation chief. Slept on pavements for 40 days. Was beaten, dragged by the police. Nearly immersed all her medals in the Ganga. Underwent knee surgery. Sealed her Olympic spot after an unforgiving qualification process. Became the 1st Indian woman wrestler to qualify for three successive Olympics. And now, she's beaten the unbeatable defending champ, won two more bouts to become the first Indian woman to reach a wrestling Olympic final. Words fail to appreciate what Vinesh Phogat has just done. es.pn/3SFNkQ1 | #Paris2024

Today I learnt that RTO's don't accept Aadhar based KYC if your Aadhar address does not contain your parent's name (i.e. with a c/o)

My hear fills with joy, and a smile magically appears when @Shayonnita15 posts a new thread
A boy and girl within earshot are bantering on the metro. They're friends, evidently. But it's the kind of friendship that often slants into undertones of all sorts. Where eyes catch, as do hearts—I can tell. The girl, it seems is on her way to a date. THREAD.

The problem is not with the human operator of this vehicle, but rather the operators of other vehicles on the same road. How would it react then? That is the question.

So the BJP's FakeFactory stands exposed today by none other than the revered head Swamigal of the Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam himself in The Hindu. No Mountbatten, No Rajaji, No part in OFFICIAL transfer of power on August 14th 1947. But yes the majestic Sengol was indeed presented to Nehru as I have been saying all along. Here are some more facts to nail the lies of today's Raja and his drumbeaters. 1. Page 10 of The Hindu dated August 29 1947 carries an ADVERTISEMENT on the presentation of the Golden Sceptre to Nehru at 10pm on August 14 1947 at his residence. It was clearly an initiative of the Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam itself.  2. In the photo at the bottom the famed nagaswaram virtuoso T.N. Rajaratnam Pillai is marked as # 5. Here is what is said on him in an article on a website of the Union Ministry of Culture: When India attained independence  Rajaratnam was sent to Delhi by the Pandarasannadhi of the Tiruvaduturai Matam to present on his behalf a mace of solid gold senkol (symbol of righteous administration). Rajaratnam was thrilled by this proud privilege. It was Dr. P. Subbarayan who introduced him to the Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to whom Rajaratnam played the nagaswaram before handing over the mace. There is no mention of Mountbatten or even Rajaji.  Rajaratnam Pillai is himself the subject of a fascinating new biography by an eminent Japanese ethnomusicologist in which the August 14 1947 episode is mentioned.

I miss Web 2.0, where we were sending scraps on Orkut, reading and writing blogs, editing Wikipedia, and generally having a good time. I really hate what the internet has become today

a 100 times this! Please don't have a top down mandate to have synchronised 2 weeks sprints across the organisation, just because you read that somewhere. Understand what each teams needs, and empower them to make the right decision.
Someone mentioned me in a comment where they are debating whether or not the top 10 Fortune 500 companies use Agile (as in, some methodology based on the Agile Manifesto). My thoughts on this: worry about being nimble, not about Agile (TM). That's what the best orgs do, anyway.
