Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect.  All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections. We now have a special responsibility, as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, to do everything we can to support and defend our Constitution, preserve the rule of law, and ensure that our institutions hold over these coming four years. Citizens across this country, our courts, members of the press and those serving in our federal, state and local governments must now be the guardrails of democracy.

OMG! This is Philly right now for Kamala Harris. The energy in the room is electric! People are dancing, singing, and having fun while fighting for democracy. You won’t see this at Trump’s rallies!

First Kamala. Then Taylor. Wow. But I guess the good news for Trump is that he can finally say he got ****** by two women on the same night.

So, do you think Trump threw ketchup against the wall tonight when he was told he lost the debate or when he learned that Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala?

Emmett Till was murdered in 1955. He was only 14 years old. As a U.S. senator, I led the effort to make lynching a federal hate crime. As Vice President, I proudly stood beside @JoeBiden as he signed the Emmett Till Antilynching Act into law. As President, I will continue the fight for equality and justice.

BREAKING: Former Trump official Stephanie Grisham delivers a fiery speech at the DNC and exposes her former boss, revealing that Trump "mocks his supporters" behind closed doors — before spilling the beans on Melania. And Grisham was just getting started... "I wasn't just a Trump supporter, I was a true believer. I was one of his closest advisors. The Trump family became my family," said Grisham. "I spent Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all at Mar-a-Lago." "I saw him when the cameras were off. Behind closed doors, Trump mocks his supporters. He calls them basement dwellers," she continued. "On a hospital visit one time when people were dying in the ICU, he was mad that the cameras were not watching him," she revealed. "He has no empathy, no morals, and no fidelity to the truth." "He used to tell me 'it doesn't matter what you say Stephanie, say it enough and people will believe you.' But it does matter," said Grisham. "What you say matters and what you don't say matters." "On January 6th I asked Melania if we could at least tweet 'that while peaceful protest is the right of every American, there's no place for lawlessness or violence.' She replied with one word: 'No," said Grisham. "I became the first senior staffer to resign that day," said Grisham to a round of enthusiastic applause. "I couldn't be part of the insanity any longer." America is done with Donald Trump. It's time to move towards a brighter future for all of us. By electing Kamala Harris, we can save this country from any more insanity. "Why it matters: [Latter-day Saints] are a potentially decisive voting bloc because of the faith's large population in Arizona, where President Biden's 2020 gains with members exceeded his margin of victory." axios.com/local/salt-lake-ci…

I will happily start a Go Fund Me to help Donald Trump raise the money to post bond in his fraud case, provided he agrees to take a lie detector test and allows Liz Cheney to ask the questions.

Every Super Tuesday voter should see Bryan Cranston's message on Trump: "I've stopped worrying about Donald Trump's sanity. He's not sane. And the realization of his illness doesn't fill me with anger, but with profound sadness. What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country." Do you agree with him?

Donald Trump is coming to Richmond today for a campaign rally. As our city’s Mayor, I’m here to remind you that Trump’s bigoted message has no place in our city or in our Commonwealth. We will re-elect President Biden in November.

I'm early in @DeveryAnderson's book on Emmett Till: Much time spent trying synthesize conflicting accounts & evolving memories into a best guess at the "truth" of what happened at Bryant's Grocery. And this strikes hard at the cruel absurdity of it all. upress.state.ms.us/Books/E/E…

There is so much wrong with this video that I don’t even know where to start. 1. There is already so much free candy out there on Halloween. Why are you going waste a bunch of kids’ time by cleaning out an entire bucket? 2. Parents who steal will almost certainly have children who steal. 3. Who needs this much candy on Halloween? It’s almost as if they’re doing this just to be evil. 4. I wish that someone was just there inside the house and popped out to surprise them all, letting them know that this video was going to be on social media and millions of people would see what kind of scumbags they are.
