ICYMI: The Loomis Road (WIS 36) bridge over I-894 is back open! It reopened over the weekend (10/5). Four of the five ramps to/from Loomis Road are also back open. This is part of the ongoing I-894 project: projects.511wi.gov/894/

Planning a Labor Day weekend road trip? Construction projects across the state will be put on hold to better accommodate the increased traffic.

According to the AAA, Wisconsinites will travel in near-record numbers this weekend. Peak travel times are expected between 1-7:30 pm on Aug. 29, 2-6 pm on Aug. 30, and 11 am to 8 pm on Sept. 2. Most road construction will pause over the weekend to open as many lanes as possible.
