incident allegedly on a SOPU student leader
In Punjab University,Chandigarh on 17.03.2026 has been apprehended.
In the joint operation location of the accused was traced at village
Nurpur, PS Amloh, district Fatehgarh Sahib. As the teams tried to apprehend the accused, the
suspect opened fire on the police party.
In the retaliatory exchange of fire, the accused sustained injuries and was shifted to the hospital.
Recovery: One .32 bore pistol, 2 live and 4 empty cartridges, one Creta Car
