In a bid to eliminate stigma and discrimination against persons living with HIV, a local organization has initiated training of young persons under a program called Community Power Voices, through which they will raise awareness and promote HIV prevention at the grassroots level
Aids Healthcare Foundation CPV member,Tanaka Mukuhwa say the training is as a vital opportunity in fostering the fight against HIV stigma and discrimination, as it enhances members capacity to advocate effectively for their communities.
The Young Emerging Leaders program being spearheaded by AHF under the Global Network of Young People Living with HIV supported by Zvandiri was recently held in Rusape, and over 50 young persons participated.

Chipinge dam breach: Death toll rises to 5
Communities in Ward 10, Chipinge East, are grappling with the loss of lives of villagers after a dam breach on Sunday.
Five people have been confirmed dead as the incident left a trail of destruction in its wake.
