Dyslexic/Dyspraxic/ADHD blogger offering tips and techniques for the #neurodiversesquad to excel in the workplace. Keen cyclist, ultra runner, love the outdoors
I get this sort of comment all the time, often about bespoke suits or mechanical watches. "These things are boring," "This is only for rich people," or "Who cares?"
Let me tell you a story. 🧵
Motorists break the law to save time, cyclists break the law to save their life.
Anyone who uses a bicycle for transportation understands this is true.
To put this into context, since 2016, 30 people have been killed in collisions involving cyclists. In that time over 17,000 have been killed in collisions involving drivers.
I don't have a problem with the new law, but let's not think this will reduce deaths on our roads.
Analysis of the English local elections by Sir John Curtice: “support for Reform averaged 43% in wards where more than half of adults have few, if any, educational qualifications. In contrast, it polled just 19% where more than two in five have a degree.”

My max grid is only 32 and water to the west will impede my progress but tile hunting has reconnected me to why I ride and run - to see new places. I also love the long line exploits like Hadrian’s wall give on my map even if not connected to my square or cluster (yet)
Starmer: "The Leader of the Opposition has been an MP for eight years... I can't recall her once raising this issue [child sexual abuse]."
Badenoch: "As a minister, I would not have been speaking on this specific issue."
Badenoch was Minister for Children and Families.

Any #mywoosh users? I loaded it today on my iPad, it says there is an update, and now it is just staying on this screen. No progress indicator, nothing to click and available time to get my workout in counting down
