Motorists break the law to save time, cyclists break the law to save their life. Anyone who uses a bicycle for transportation understands this is true.

To put this into context, since 2016, 30 people have been killed in collisions involving cyclists. In that time over 17,000 have been killed in collisions involving drivers. I don't have a problem with the new law, but let's not think this will reduce deaths on our roads.
