These giant spheres are within 0.05% of a pure mathematical golden ratio. Then, multiply in the odds of the Moon and Sun aligning (entirely independently of that Kepler triangle) to produce perfect eclipses, both solar and lunar… ie: the Sun is ~400x the moon’s diameter, and ~400x farther away. What are the odds there? Then multiply in the odds of a life-supporting planet-moon system forming at all, with a *giant* moon that stabilizes tilt, gives us tides, and lets complex life form. Just the odds of Earth supporting any life at all is like Goldilocks on crack. Then multiply that by the odds of *conscious* life evolving here to witness it all, with the resources to build the tools to measure it. Then multiply the odds of us being here *right now*, in the tiny cosmic window when eclipses still happen, before the Moon drifts too far for them to work. Then multiply by the odds of the golden ratio appearing again and again in math, nature, music, etc. It beggars belief already. Now get underneath all of THAT, and multiply the odds of the laws of physics themselves allowing any matter to exist at all. Mathematical constants like the Fine-Structure constant, the cosmological constant, or Euler’s identity (numbers that physicists like Feynman openly admitted were bizarre and beyond human reckoning) You’re looking at something like 10⁻¹⁰⁰⁰⁰, at least. That’s like plucking a single atom out of all the atoms in the universe at random, scattering them again, and picking the exact same atom the second time. Now repeat that, 100 times in a row. And don’t even get me started on innate good and evil, synchronicity, the supernatural, or DNA being code that builds tiny nano-machines. This place was created and tuned. And we’re here for it. 🍿🙏

Holy fuck this is the longest screed. Why do people even post this kinda crap? I’ll help: “this guys girlfriend wasn’t horny for him after seeing him get knocked out, so he dumped her.” That’s it. This aparagoid dude “wrote” like 1500 words to say that.
I know an MMA fighter whose 7 year relationship basically died the night he got knocked out for the first time Not because she wanted it to die, but because something clicked inside her on that night she could never get back When I was 22 I became friends with a MMA fighter He was extremely talented at BJJ and just starting to get adept at striking. He racked up a few wins, about six wins in amateur MMA and that's about when our friendship began He'd had a girlfriend for a long time, since school I think. About six years they were together by the time we got to know each other I went to two of his fights to support him. I don't think there was any prize money. He just got a few hundred Euros for showing up Then he had a breakthrough to a bigger event where they gave him five thousand Euros and plane tickets to compete in Poland His girlfriend had been by his side to every fight so far and she pledged to be supportive no matter what because it was his dream to eventually break through into the UFC or IIRC maybe One Fighting Championship And he was on what seemed to be the right path so far In this particular fight he got knocked out in the first round by a jacked black guy. I wasn't there, but I saw the YouTube vids and it was pretty brutal. He looked lifeless for 20 secs before they got him conscious again This is normal for fighting. You can't win them all What's more interesting is what happened to his relationship We spoke about a month after this fight. I just wanted to see how he was dealing with the loss. I wanted to give encouragement to him He said yeah I'm fine, I'd expect to lose at some point and you just learn valuable lessons and know what to work on. He knew his striking needed serious work He seemed positive about it all. He didn't really care about losing, since it meant learning But then he said the weird thing is since I got knocked out, the bedroom has been dead He said, with some hesitation, I haven't been able to get my girlfriend to have sex with me. She's just been like a "lifeless, still, completely cold" She doesn't even cuddle me in bed anymore. She just turns to her side and goes to sleep He said asked her what's wrong and she said oh it's nothing, I'm just feeling a lot of stress lately, that she was going through grief a few years after her father passed away, and so on Anyway I thought this was weird but ups and downs happen in different relationships About six months later we spoke again and this came up He said there's been no change ever since that fight where I got knocked out. There's been no intimacy, starting from that exact moment He said there were maybe two times but it felt incredibly forced and I stopped it because I didn't feel like she even had any desire for me. It didn't feel anything like it had before And he told me that he was going to have to end it because he wasn't getting his needs met. That he couldn't marry into a dead bedroom He said it felt like an exercise futility. It felt like she just didn't love him anymore A couple months later he rang me and told me he'd ended it She never gave him any direct clarity about what happened but she just couldn't be intimate anymore for some reason and she didn't know why and she hated herself for not being able to. She explained it as depression and a "her problem" And so that was a seven year relationship killed on the exact night the guy got knocked out Not because she wanted it to die. She really didn't, apparently, she just couldn't feel the spark anymore Not because he wanted it to die But because something clicked inside her on that evening and she could never get it back Anyway this was a couple years back and now he's moved on and he's with another girl with a kid on the way and he is very happy so what happened before that doesn't matter really But I thought it was interesting nonetheless

This is the dumbest crap I’ve ever seen in my life. Online, I’ve seen people die doing careless shit. I’ve seen senseless crimes committed. But THIS is one of the worst, most useless things in the history of mankind. That people enjoy this is incomprehensible to me.
🔥 Watch what happens when effort refuses to quit.

I think the problem is that many of these game devs themselves were hired on due to post-Obama kumbaya ESG/DEI practices, and they hate their target audiences. They’ll take a paycheck and enjoy the chaos as long as they can.

Bro, let’s stop pretending. Muslims make up about 25% of the entire world’s population — over 2 billion people across 50 countries. Japanese people? About 1.4% of the world. One single country. Shinto exists only in Japan. So when people say “Japan should prioritize minorities and be more accommodating to Islam,” who exactly are we talking about? The global majority is coming to one of the world’s smallest ethnic and religious groups and demanding that Japan change its culture, food, and traditions for them. That’s not “protecting minorities.” That’s the majority trying to colonize a tiny minority. Japan has every right to protect its own people and culture first. If Muslims want to live under Islamic rules, they already have dozens of countries where they can do that. They don’t need to come to Japan and turn it into another one.

Total WHITEPILL @michaelmalice is vindicated once again
The future looks conservative. The assumption that birth rates are falling across society in general is not really true. People who identify as conservative are having almost as many children as they were decades ago. The decline is overwhelmingly among those on the progressive left.

This is brutal to read. My brother and his girl are in a similar boat, but have a 7 year jump on these folks. Best of luck having a kid (or even two!). 🙏

This happened to me. I’m 45. Married 15 years. I didn’t want kids because I was in despair about the state of the world. I believed the lies. I thought the earth was on fire and it was our fault. I thought overpopulation was real I thought recycling mattered I thought viruses were real I thought human were a cancer on the earth and that we bring death and destruction whenever we go I thought all of these things and this combined with the food land air and water poisoning by big corporations tha no one seemed to be able to fight, the banking cartels, the educational system, the healthcare system etc just made me sick to my stomach. I thought having kids would not only be shitty to bring a being into this dumpster fire, but would also tie me to it. Like I’d have to get my kids up for public school at 6am and vaccinate them and shop at Walmart like every other person I know who has kids. That sounded like a horrible way to live and I felt like hy having kids it would sic me into the beast system even harder. I did not understand the levels I could RESIST. I didn’t know about all the demoralization campaign lies they tell to get us e to self loathe and self destruct. I would have kids with my husband now. We’ve been trying for a year. He got his vasectomy reversed. We woke up during covid. It took us a few years to realize what we’d done when we made the decision not to have kids. We changed our mind. Maybe it’s too late for us. If that is true, then we’ll walk that path. But the self extinction promoting lies they tell are powerful. More than half the people we know in our age range didn’t have kids for similar reasons. I regret it. But I’m so thankful to be awake now. Thank you for your work! I would totally have used your books and program if I end up with child.

This moron doesn’t understand how heritability and IQ work. Or he DOES, and imagines himself being part of the Eloi rather than the Morlock.

Get over it. We are all citizens of the same planet. Why grieve over human-drawn borders, drawn at varying times over the history of humanity?

Seems relevant here.
BREAKING: Bernie Sanders will introduce a bill to have the public take a 50% ownership stake in the country's biggest AI companies. The American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act would have the government tax AI companies, take 50% of the stock, and put it under public control.

Oh my god. This is awful. The comments are more awful. What the hell. We are cooked as a species.
These indie devs made a library simulator where you must return all 3,072 books to their rightful places. It's currently a top-seller on Steam. - Sort books by cover & title - Run a magical arcane library - Very satisfying It's called Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!

Destiny 3 needs this guy to get the band back together for a reunion tour. It would sell out stadiums.
Created this logo around 2008 for a publisher pitch - not knowing the impact it would have almost 20 years later.

God I want to move out of this state SO QUICKLY. Now just waiting for wages to climb 15% and houses to decline by 15%. (Also waiting for hell to freeze over…)

ALT Wait Waiting GIF

Washington just became the first state in U.S. history to terminate a public employee pension plan. The plan belongs to retired police officers and firefighters. LEOFF Plan 1 was 160% funded as of June 2024 per the state's own actuarial valuation. It had not required a single contribution in 25 years. By 2029 it was projected to reach 200% funded with a $4.3 billion surplus. The legislature terminated the plan, swept $3.9 billion, and is using $880 million of it to refill a rainy day fund it already drained to cover a deficit it created. Days ago, retired first responders including former Congressman Dave Reichert sued the state to stop it. The bill passed the House 55-39 and was advanced out of Appropriations without a public hearing. Every yes vote was a Democrat. The governor signed it in April. I publish the full research and sourced breakdowns on Substack every week. Search Shane Kidwell if you want the deeper dive. I sacrificed my body and a good chunk of my life for our state, they committed to providing a benefit for me and raided it. @GovBobFerguson @komonews @KIRO7Seattle @KING5Seattle @fox13seattle @seattletimes

The DOJ has ONE WEEK left to charge Anthony Fauci for the worst cover-up in modern medical history. He lied to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs. I re-upped my criminal referral to the DOJ because the evidence is overwhelming, and justice has been delayed long enough. RT if you’re ready to see Fauci behind bars.

The fact that framing can do this much to skew people demonstrates the entire problem with letting low-IQ people into positions of authority.
Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?
