Is today’s AI really GLOBAL or just Silicon Valley in disguise?
In our new piece “Global AI Cultures” (published by the prestigious Communications of the ACM journal), we argue that AI isn’t neutral. It carries the languages, assumptions, and cultural blind spots of those who build it. If we want AI to serve humanity, it must reflect cultural diversity instead of flattening it.
Curious to hear: can AI ever be truly global, or will it always carry local bias?
