youtube.com/watch?v=l42TD2kt……Robin's presentation from #nhshackday in Cardiff. We could do a lot more with guidelines in the emergency setting, not just their presentation in a web-friendly format but perhaps with the structure e.g. using GDL as the base format #openehr

Great weekend in Cardiff at #nhshackday, catching up with some old friends and meeting a few new. We were on easy street from about 4pm on Saturday, converting a paeds resus app from MS Powerpoint to React, using markdown source files. jd-spooky.github.io/resus/

A CEO, programme director and CCIO walk into a bar. The barman asks “Why are you here?” The CEO replies “We’re here to decide which is the perfect EPR for my hospital” The programme director adds “And we’ll agree a flawless deployment plan” The CCIO asks “Can I start a tab?”

I was reminded of this quote when reading an article about HL7-FHIR vs OpenEHR for persistence of healthcare data. If your application currently stores your data in a closed/proprietary format, it's worth thinking about migrating it to an open one.

Innovation in the cath lab. Absolutely extraordinary. Possibly the greatest breakthrough I have ever seen in cardiology

So, to re-cap. When a malicious actor uses the Azure platform to launch a brute force attack on a third party, the platform provider is absolved of any all responsibility. Okay, got it 😡🤬

If you're thinking about flying via Heathrow any time soon, my advice is to think again. Landing successfully is no guarantee that you'll get into terminal 5. Got stuck off the stand for almost half an hour on Saturday as there were no lights on at the gate.

Another great @INTEROPenAPI Hackathon, this time on Care Planning. Burned some midnight oil, hacked the @code4health #openehr API and presented possibly the smallest and least functional demo in @reactjs ever. Job done!

Childish, I know, but I just love that in Danish, 'Professional' is 'Fagperson'.

Re-visiting logbooks at #gashack2, prompted by @jplomas and @AnaestheticsApp, aided by anaesthetics.app/blog/posts/… Getting my teeth into jsonschema and doing a bit of modelling. Forgot how enjoyable this stuff can be.
