Look I get it, I like Xbox a lot so there’s definitely a bias in that sense, but I guarantee you’d never see an article like this about PlayStation or Nintendo like this from big media sites
I just don’t get the bias of a plastic box from members of larger games media outlets.

Like I play in everything but definitely prefer Xbox at the end of the day, but I really don’t have many negative things to say about any of the big 3 🤷♂️ but it seems like every day these big media outlets publish some horrible headline about Xbox in particular. Very strange 🤔

Honestly don’t know how Xbox can work around the fact that the entire games media hate them and comb through every interview to find a small 3-4 word quote they can twist to make the company look bad.
I find it so strange the hate they get for merely existing.

This is not correct:
• In the interview, I am asked about a comment I made before being hired at XBOX, then state that I was only 10 days into the role, and that I am not stating the company's plans or beliefs
• What I do say is that ads should be used to offer more affordable alternatives alongside today's ad-free experiences, in the hopes more could play as a result. Similar to how Netflix and Disney have ad-tiers with all the same content, but at half the price or so
• At no point do I even mention in-game ads
(I personally believe interrupting the gameplay experience would be bad)

It’s awesome that literally every month for the next four months has a game I’m most excited for. Halo July, MGS August, Wolverine in September and Gears in October. And of course November is taken up by a little game no one’s hear of 🤭

As long as I don’t have ads interrupting gameplay I’m totally fine with this. Crazy taxi style in game advertising is totally fine with me. Throw a Mtn Dew billboard in Forza, I have 0 issue with that.
BUT as it always goes, it will START like that and then get worse so idk 🤷

One thing for sure Xbox needs imo is to bring back the SNAP feature from Xbox One in some way. That was SUCH a cool feature that allowed users to watch sports or YouTube while playing their favorite games. I think nowadays it’d be really useful for collectible guides!
