What is the worst thing a chatter has ever said to you guys?
I once had a new chatter come in, tell me my model and artwork were trash and they could remake it all with a discounted rate on their VGen.
Keep in mind the artist was not only in chat at the time, it's also my brother!

Weβve witnessed many harassment campaigns by pearl clutching chuds who try to bully women, LGBTQ and BIPOC creators into silence..
and itβs only getting worse unless people speak up.

I don't ask for much but, this man has been through the ringer with layoffs. If you could spare some love and support I would genuinely appreciate it. Zolon and I have been where he has been before and it never gets easier.
There's so much negativity online. Let's give someone some hope for once in this space π
I'm largely in my feels right now, but I think I'm done. Another layoff. Another fight to find a job. Worrying about finances. I can't keep being a dandy guy. So call this a soft graduation an indefinite hiatus...I don't know.

The idea that creators are expected to deal with negative comments, & therefore it's totally fine to insult them, is dumb. A retail worker is expected to deal with rude customers; doesn't mean YOU have to be the rude customer. Life sucks, but you shouldn't be the reason it does.

π·οΈPeople like this are the problem - thinking that drawing and creating art is "boring" is the root of a deep issue that needs careful examination. Art might be tough sometimes, but that doesn't make the process of creation any less rewarding or precious.

As a developer, it's so fucking funny to see "artists" trip out about AI. Sorry that AI can generate better than what some of you can draw. You know what anyone who actually uses AI as a tool thinks? "Thank fucking god I don't have to do this boring ass part of my job anymore".
