We built an automated payment and commerce platform for the Etherlink hackathon at @nowmedia
We created CHAP CHAP, a chat-based AI that allows users to send, spend, save and shop all in one place.
Traditional payment methods often involve complex processes, such as sending money through buttons, buying items on separate platforms, and saving or investing through additional steps. This can lead to frequent switching and frustration, especially for simple transactions.
This friction motivated us to build CHAP CHAP.
Instead of asking, “What if your money could think and act for you?” we asked a different question: “What if your money could be simpler?”
With CHAP CHAP, users don’t have to navigate through multiple apps. Instead, they can simply communicate their needs to the agent.
For example, they can say, “Send 20k to Ada,” “Buy me food,” “Find the cheapest iPhone under 300k,” “Save this money,” or “Swap Xtz to USDC.” The agent then takes action to fulfil these requests.
The agent behind CHAP CHAP is an intelligent agent that can move money, compare options, make purchases and manage balances.
CHAP CHAP goes beyond just payments. It offers a comprehensive solution for managing money in real life. Users can search and buy products, compare prices, pay instantly and handle real-world purchases all within a single conversation.
With CHAP CHAP, users can take control of their finances and make smarter decisions. It automatically saves money, helps users find better investment opportunities and manages how their money grows.
CHAP CHAP is designed for people who live across countries, earn in different currencies, use both crypto and cash and want to reduce the barriers associated with managing money. It eliminates delays, hidden fees and complicated systems, providing a seamless and efficient experience.
We don’t see CHAP CHAP as just an app, We envision a shift from traditional apps to conversations, from manual steps to automation and from fragmented tools to a single, intelligent agent.
Money should be something that works for you, not something that you have to manage.
With CHAP CHAP, that vision is finally a reality.
