🚨 SIGNAL: CarMax cut used-vehicle gross by $207/unit to defend volume
CarMax said pricing actions helped improve the sales trend even as retail used units dipped. Wholesale units still rose, so auction lanes may get more supply as retailers lean into turn.
Dealers should be ready for retail price compression to show up in your market comps and watch appraisal discipline if wholesale prices soften.
