This is the most from-the-heart Tweet I’ve ever hit “send” on. If you've been with me on this journey, please take a moment to read if you have the time: To The Garrison, 2024 was by far our best year yet. A rollercoaster ride that saw insane growth, support that has left me speechless, along with a few challenges along the way. Through the highs and the lows, there is always one constant: all of you, The Garrison. The steadfast support you give and your faith in me has helped me through the lows and helped us soar higher than we ever thought imaginable. This community has changed my life in far-reaching ways and I’ll never be able to thank you all enough for always believing in me and the show we put on day in and day out. You made this full-time gig not only a reality, but a life-changing one for years now. Endlessly: thank you. I also want to say 2024 made me a believer in karma. On this journey I’ve met some of the most sincere, real and loyal people I’ve ever met. On the flip side, I’ve also met a small handful of the most vindictive, jealous, and negative people imaginable. As well as those who act as a “friend” but are only around to use you for your community, successes, and being adjacent to someone who can “help them.” But then disappear when times are tough or even worse, bring the daggers out the second they can try to cut you down. Through the years every attempt at a setback has only resulted in a bigger leap as a channel and community. Only failures focus on others with the intent to tear them down, often times because they lack the dedication, personality, and creativity to make it in this industry and resent those that do. But, karma did its thing. Like clockwork they either remain in obscurity or quit. This thought me a valuable lesson, though. Keep your circle tight. I will fault myself on overextending my connections. That was my mistake. Now I’m surrounded by some of the most hard-working and authentic creators and community members you can find. Focusing on myself, my content, and our community while cutting loose the dead weight was a game-changer for me this year. Our stream has taken off to new heights and my mental health and happiness has never been stronger as a result. To those of you who have never changed, always had my back, or at the very least reach out when you have a question or concern, aka the majority of everyone I know: thank you for being real ones. Even with growing this year, we’ve kept the vibes and tight-knit feel within the community. I would never trade our community built up of some of the most supportive, loyal, and passionate people you’ll find on the platform for anything. We’ve achieved so much over the years: raising over $45,000 for children’s charities, partner in under a year, hitting over 10,000 concurrent Twitch subscriptions, turning this gig into a full-time career for years now, etc. These accomplishments were only achieved because of all of you. I have a deep love and passion for what I do. I'm thankful every day I'm one of the rare cases of people who get to do this full-time. I'll never stop striving to be better, to build a community full of kind-hearted and compassionate people, and having chaotic fun while doing it. 2025 is going to be a hell of a ride. We have huge events, collabs, new cosplays, new games, and diversified content on the horizon. I promised next year was going to be an exciting time for us, and starting on our very first stream of 2025, January 3rd: We’re being featured on THE FRONT PAGE OF TWITCH!!! I have this incredible community to thank, because of your energy and incredible support this year it was a no-brainer for Twitch to tap us for such an incredible opportunity.
