I can imagine Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak are getting some wry amusement from Starmer's troubles, given how he behaved whilst in opposition. Actually though, Rishi might not, as he will know how Starmer's ineptitude is damaging the country.

Hot take: what matters in #Parkrun (if you want fairness...) is people not being in the correct age category. No-one seems annoyed about this, perhaps because it does not matter. A little like the M/F categories people are getting annoyed about. What matters is people having fun.

Ed Miliband is not the answer for Labour. He tried to be PM, and the voters said a firm "No!". Neither is Andy Burnham IMO. Nor is Angela Rayner. Labour need someone from outside the top ranks, someone with fresh ideas and little involvement with the current regime. & competence.

Competence would always be good... The thing is, Labour still have a stonking majority, and there is time to fix things. But Starmer, his team and the old guard cannot fix them, as they are largely the cause of the problems. Starmer has been such a disappointment.
