My mosaic portrait of Jane Morris has been accepted for this years Open exhibition with The Oxford Art Society. Edward Burne-Jones, the pre-raphaelite artist was an honorary member of the society and great friend of Jane’s and her husband William Morris, a perfect maiden show.

I’m so happy with my latest mosaic portrait of Jane Morris. Inspired by two Rossetti paintings but adapted. The angle of her head, her face, her hair, tweaked and changed. The background and border are influenced by her art, her era, her family and friends.
