Lindy Ruff took a 79-point team and turned it into a 102 point contender in a single season. The #Sabres finished near the top of the NHL in wins, points percentage, 5-on-5 scoring, and penalty killing while posting one of the biggest year-over-year improvements in franchise history. Yet somehow he wasn't named Coach of the Year. The voters should be ashamed of themselves. If this isn't a Jack Adams-winning season, what exactly is? I'll start by saying Jon Cooper absolutely deserves to have a Jack Adams on his resume - he absolutely should NOT however, have won it this year. Zero logical explanation as to how he beats out Lindy Ruff. Voters should be ashamed of this.

Jon Cooper is a great coach, it was crazy he has never won a Jack Adams
Saying that, there is ZERO reason he should have won the award. Lindy Ruff and Dan Muse were the only 2 coaches in the league that should’ve been in consideration. That’s it. Stop voting for narratives.
