So #covidinquiry commissioned serious research by academics at Oxford Uni into vaccine safety. Concludes “best evidence” suggests jabs saved millions of lives. And any suggestion they caused excess mortality is “low quality and has been in many cases misinterpreted.” A short 🧵

WHO comments on United States announcement of intent to withdraw Geneva – The World Health Organization regrets the announcement that the United States of America intends to withdraw from the Organization. WHO plays a crucial role in protecting the health and security of the world’s people, including Americans, by addressing the root causes of disease, building stronger health systems, and detecting, preventing and responding to health emergencies, including disease outbreaks, often in dangerous places where others cannot go. The United States was a founding member of WHO in 1948 and has participated in shaping and governing WHO’s work ever since, alongside 193 other Member States, including through its active participation in the World Health Assembly and Executive Board. For over seven decades, WHO and the USA have saved countless lives and protected Americans and all people from health threats. Together, we ended smallpox, and together we have brought polio to the brink of eradication. American institutions have contributed to and benefited from membership in WHO. With the participation of the United States and other Member States, WHO has over the past 7 years implemented the largest set of reforms in its history, to transform our accountability, cost-effectiveness, and impact in countries. This work continues. We hope the United States will reconsider and we look forward to engaging in constructive dialogue to maintain the partnership between the USA and WHO, for the benefit of the health and well-being of millions of people around the globe.

It breaks my heart when I see a patient wearing a surgical mask in the hospital. They obviously WANT to protect themselves. Public health has so utterly failed that they believe the surgical mask will be enough. When no one else is masking, you need a well fitted respirator.

COVID is still in our community & can spread easily, especially during gatherings. Because #COVIDIsAirborne, improving ventilation is important. Good ventilation & meeting up outdoors reduce the risk of spreading COVID. Learn more: go.vic.gov.au/3ZDeRo4 More tips below 1/2🧵

ALT A 5-frame GIF with illustrations and text that reads: “Ventilation is key to helping stay COVID-free. COVID is still in our community & can spread easily. Especially during gatherings. Because COVID is airborne, improving ventilation is important. You can improve ventilation with these simple steps: Let fresh air in, improve airflow, filter the air and... meet outdoors if you can.” Illustrations feature a tall leafy tree growing next to an orange and blue house. There is a breeze flowing through an open window. Three people meeting up outdoors, one is wearing a green hooded sweater, black pants and white sneakers, another is a pregnant woman wearing an orange dress and matching orange sandals and the third person is an elderly woman who uses a wheelchair, wearing a red sweater and waving hello.

I understand the anger, I feel it too, but the Trump won't need to use military force to annex Canada – the US Congress will make a law saying Canada is a US territory, then Trump will fly Poilievre to DC to sign on the dotted line, and that will be that How would we fight that?

I'm seriously asking, how would we fight that type of lawfare annexation? invading the whole country isn't possible, the country is simply too vast and too spread out, and forcing the PM to sign away Canada would be less costly & appear more legitimate than using military force
