#genderparity A BBC report says “83% of sports now reward men and women equally.” That does not mean sports organisers and team owners pay men and women equally. Wonder when gender pay parity will become a reality in all sports. All industries. All companies. All countries.

I am more than horrified by the ruling in Italy! Judge says that the 66 year old caretaker's groping of a 16 year old student for <10 seconds does not constitute #sexualassault. I was too disturbed to watch the protest videos. #palpatabreve #10secondi bbc.com/news/world-europe-66…

Our newspapers have got to dramatically review and improve thier messaging wrt diversity and inclusion. Today’s paper shows only men working in the IT industry and only men being laid off. A few tweaks is all it needed. #timesofindia #diversityandinclusion #newspapers

We should not need NFHS data (tho' it is always useful) to know that women face violence on a regular basis from an intimate partner or a family member. These statistics tell us how horrifyingly common it is. We all have to fight against violence.
This is NFHS data - official data. Can we now stop the nonsense conversations about religion or live-in relationships. 1 in 3 Indian women has experienced violence from an intimate partner. This alone should provoke outrage .@htTweets

This should not surprise anyone given the lack of pay parity between men and women. Yet, reading these numbers do: 1. Women accumulate 74% of wealth as compared to men at the time of retirement 2. In India, this number stands at 64% #genderpayparity #payparity

The video addresses common limiting beliefs that hold women back from gainful employement i.e. working night shifts, safety, heavy lifting. Good show, Tata Motors!
