I remember Ileya Sallah last year. I texted this girl after she said she was bored that morning, asking if we should hang out, and she agreed. I said okay, had my bath, got ready, and called her. She then said, laughing, “I don’t have any money oo.” I told her it was fine and that I’d take care of the bills (I been dey hot that time). Minutes later, as I was walking to my junction to take a bike, she texted again that her sister was with her and asked if she could come along. I never replied. Till today. We weren’t even that close, I was only trying to make friends in Ibadan. She kept texting and texting, but I didn’t respond. I changed my location and went on to have the time of my life. I’m nice and generou but I’m not an idiot.
