15 years ago I had been through a break up and was selling all my tape packs, so I ripped them first and stored them on
@MediaFire as I was running low on hard drive space.
Facebook and proper social media was just getting popular and I could post the Mediafire links on an old style group and it would pop up as a play link and initial started just sharing
@mcsteviehyperd set's, until people started asking for other events.
As time went on Facebook edited their script and deleted all the old groups for a new system.
This lead me to create a Facebook like page and start uploaded the sets to
@mixcloud where we now have 50'000 followers. It was kept simple and Rave Archive was the name of choice.
The past 5 years has been particularly rough whilst dealing with personal trauma, but this and you guys gave me a purpose and I knew that you was always there waiting for the next upload.
So I wanted to take this opportunity to thank to all the DJ's, MC's and other talented people we have had on the page streaming from all over the world, especially during lockdown when we were all indoors and trying to find a purpose, thanks to all those in the background who help keep things ticking over and running smooth, but mostly thanks all the listeners for tuning in and sharing and liking what we do,
I will share rave tapes for as long as I am breathing and have an internet connection and you guys keep listening, so thanks for being here, I appreciate you.
Much Love
@Dizzyuk 🙏🫶
