Help me understand how the player who’s supposedly the Lakers “third” option, still does what he always done in the playoffs.🤫🐐

This is why Marines guard US embassies. Clear example of FAFO. 🤷🏾‍♂️ “…repel the enemies assault by fire and close combat.” #SemperFi

If the United States and Israel truly believed that killing Iran’s supreme leader would snap the regime in half, that would be a masterclass in wishful thinking. History says the opposite. Decapitation strikes don’t dissolve ideological states, they harden them. What now?🤔

“WAR” with Iran is typical “Wag The Dog” activities.🤔 #IYKYK🍿🥤 FYI: Wag the dog is a political term for the act of creating a diversion from a damaging issue usually through military force.

“Alright class, everybody gather on the rug. Yes, Donald, you too. No, you may NOT hide behind Mike Johnson again. He’s not your emotional support Speaker.” ✅ Lesson 1: The Republicans DID pass a CR — but it was a trick sandwich “Okay kiddos, the Republicans did pass a Continuing Resolution… But they stuffed it full of sneaky nonsense.” “They put in a little surprise called: ✨ LET THE ACA SUBSIDIES EXPIRE! ✨” “Do you know what that means? No, Donald, it doesn’t mean ‘making America great.’ It means:” 💥 Health insurance 3–4× more expensive 💥 Families losing coverage 💥 People choosing between rent and chemo 💥 Every American getting financially drop-kicked “It was a CR the same way a sandwich full of thumbtacks is still a sandwich.” ✅ Lesson 2: Republicans had NO backup plan — ZERO “Donald, sweetie… When you take away the subsidies, you need a replacement plan.” “That’s called governance, not chaos Jenga.” “But guess what Republicans had?” opens empty box “Ta-da! NOTHING!” “No new plan. No alternative. No fix. No ideas. Just vibes and cruelty.” “You can’t take away the roof without building another roof. This isn’t HGTV.” ✅ Lesson 3: Democrats said ‘no,’ because they don’t want Americans bankrupted “Donald, the Democrats didn’t reject the bill because they’re ‘mean.’ They rejected it because millions of Americans would get financially annihilated.” “They said, ❌ ‘We’re not signing a bill that increases healthcare costs by 300%.’ ❌ ‘We’re not letting the insurance market explode.’ ❌ ‘We’re not sacrificing the country so you can brag on Truth Social.’” “That’s called being responsible. Something you have never experienced.” ✅ Lesson 4: It went to the Senate — and collapsed like one of your casinos “When it hit the Senate, everybody looked at your CR like it was a microwave with no door: ‘Absolutely not. That’s a disaster waiting to happen.’” “They didn’t have the votes. They won’t HAVE the votes. There ARE no votes.” “No one wanted to explain to Americans why their insurance quadrupled because Donald Trump wanted a do-over of 2017.” ✅ Lesson 5: You thought you could strong-arm Democrats — and FAILED “This is the best part, kids.” “Donald thought he could force Democrats to pass the Republican CR by:” ✅ Threatening them ✅ Shutting down the government ✅ Firing federal workers ✅ Creating chaos ✅ Hoping the public would panic ✅ Blaming Democrats on TV “And instead…” “He discovered something shocking: ✨ Democrats don’t negotiate with hostage-takers. ✨” “You thought firing federal workers would scare them. Instead, it scared you.” ✅ Lesson 6: YOU own this shutdown, Donald. 100%. “You caused it by:” • demanding a CR with no healthcare safety net • refusing to negotiate • thinking the Senate would magically obey you • thinking Democrats would fold • assuming America would blame the wrong people • trying to gut ACA subsidies with no replacement • shutting down the government to get your way “And now you’re stomping around, screaming ‘DEMOCRATS DID IT!!’ like a kid holding a broken vase saying the cat did it.” “No Donald. The cat didn’t do it. YOU did.” ✅ End of Lesson “Okay Donald, please go put your crayons away. No, you can’t draw fake numbers on a chart and blame the CBO. No, Mike Johnson’s daily press conferences can’t un-shut the shutdown. No, you can’t say ‘Democrats hate America’ and think it changes math.” “When you’re ready for tomorrow’s lesson — ‘Why Healthcare Isn’t a Toy You Can Break Just Because You’re Angry’ — raise your hand.”

I had to honor of meeting Major James Capers, Jr. He is a Marine who lived up to the tests of war…too many combat awards to list and he’s now at the precipice of receiving well deserved Congressional Medal of Honor.👏🏾👏🏾In 2011 I had the privilege of escorting The Montfort Point Marines to Congress where they were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal after decades of fighting for it. I told Major Capers that I unfortunately had never heard his story or knew (taught) of his service. Though I knew like most Black Marines know, we stood on the shoulders of GIANTS…those Montfort Point Marines who lead they way. Unfortunately, the heroics and sheer courage under fire SSgt Capers who received field commission to Lt. during the Vietnam War, were never taught to us. His story is what the term “Billy Bad Ass” derives from. It was an honor and a pleasure Sir.🫡 #SemperFi

Perspective💡: I spoke with a Marine brother of mine at lunch today. We haven’t been in contact for over 15 years since our last deployment together. I just so happened to be scrolling thru my phone contacts and landed on his number. He’s not on any social media so I called not knowing if the number was still good. He picked up and recognized my voice immediately. We caught up for the first few minutes then got into a deeper conversation. Over the years he had been in some ‘dark places’ mentally…divorce, finances and family drama was taking its toll on him. We talked…I offered compassion, understanding and encouragement best I know how. We talked for about an hour or so. I think he’s in a good mental space…he still has some things to work through but he thanked me for reaching out and letting him know I was out here rooting for him.🫡 Those of us who have worn the uniform have experienced life at an intense pace and in a lot of extreme environments. Long after we’ve hung up the uniform for the last time, the memories…good…bad and terrible are still with us. We depend on our loved ones, friends and even those who may be physically distant from our lives day-to-day, to be able to lend an ear and word of encouragement…especially in those times that seem to be too much to bear. It’s Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. Roughly 18 veterans commit suicide everyday. If you have a friend, family member or even distant associate that sacrificed their body and mind in service of this country…I encourage you to reach out to them if you can. You never know what hearing a familiar voice…no matter how long ago it was last heard, could mean to them and to you. #SemperFi #ReachUpAndTouchThePack✊🏾

🥃🗞️ “Tiananmen Summit”💡 You got to give it to Trump. He said that he would bring the world together. That's exactly what he's doing. The problem is, he's also making the United States completely irrelevant in the process. If you haven't heard, China just hosted this huge summit…the “Tiananmen Summit”, like a dinner rehearsal and the United States wasn't even invited. China is sitting at the head of the table, and America doesn't even have a seat. Russia was there, India was there, Iran, Pakistan, even Kim Jong Un showed up to the after party. All of them together deciding what “dish” they could bring now that America isn't catering the event. They discuss plans to trade in their own currency instead of the US dollar, a way to completely bypass American banks so that Washington can no longer freeze their deals or block their transactions. They talked about building their own emergency fund, a backup to the IMF (International Monetary Fund) so that when countries go broke, they don't have to sell their economies off to US corporations just to get a bailout. They talked about using China's GPS system instead of the US’s. They talked about laying down pipelines and railways that avoid U.S. control. They talked about setting up digital payment networks that make American sanctions almost useless. Dish by dish, they're preparing for a world not catered by the United States, and everyone is bringing something to the party. China is bringing the checkbook, the satellites, the leadership. Russia is bringing oil, gas, nuclear weapons, forestry, farmland. India has 1.4 billion people. The fastest growing economy on earth is bringing code, engineers, factories. Turkey has a bridge between Europe and Asia controlling pipelines and railways. It has the Bosphorus Strait, one of the most critical waterways on earth. Iran has oil and gas. Iran has the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important shipping lanes. Iran also has decades of practice surviving U.S. sanctions. Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Pakistan also has a massive young population. It also has geography that connects Central Asia to the Arabian Sea, opening up trade routes and ports and pipelines. Central Asia has oil, gas, uranium, rare minerals. It also has the Silk Road Corridor, the bridge that connects the East to the West. Whoever controls those routes controls the flow of goods, energy and armies across Eurasia. The world is preparing for their independence. For decades we told ourselves that the world couldn't function without us, that the dollar was irreplaceable, that no global deal would happen without Washington's blessing, that we were the glue holding it all together. But with great power comes great responsibility, and America has been grossly irresponsible with that power. So while we were busy bullying the world into submission, they were quietly building a plan B, and this “Tiananmen Summit” was the reveal of that plan B. A dinner rehearsal for a world where America is not at the table, where America is not providing a dish. Trump did called himself the “peace president”, the man that would end forever wars, the man that would bring the world together. Well…looks like he’s accomplishing that to the detriment of the US and its global influence and interests. 🫡

I haven’t lived in New Orleans in almost 35 years…but it’s still my home and is where the majority of my family and love ones are. This bill they just passed will be socially and economically devastating for the whole of Louisiana and definitely detrimental to the city I still call home. Republicans are responsible…don’t let them scapegoat you as they will try in the upcoming midterms. They’re conniving enough to make sure the vast majority of the bills gutting of resources won’t kick in until after the 2026 midterms. Don’t say you were not warned.🗳️ Based on the legislation that passed the Senate and the House, Louisiana residents will face significant impacts from Trump's "megabill." Here's how it will specifically affect Louisiana: Medicaid Cuts - Major Impact on Louisiana Nearly 190,000 Louisianians at risk: A letter sent over the weekend by nonprofit and hospital leaders warns that the proposed Medicaid cuts in the bill could cause rural hospitals to close, health care professionals to lose their jobs, and leave nearly 200,000 Louisianians uninsured. Work Requirements Starting December 31, 2026: Adults aged 19-64 on Medicaid expansion will need to work, volunteer, or attend school for at least 80 hours per month. This is particularly concerning since in Louisiana, only 48% of workers are offered health insurance at work. Louisiana's Medicaid Expansion at Risk: Louisiana expanded Medicaid in 2016 under Governor John Bel Edwards, covering more than 700,000 low-income adults. The state's "Healthy Louisiana" program could be severely impacted. SNAP (Food Stamps) Cuts - High Impact State Louisiana has very high SNAP participation: Louisiana, which has the highest poverty rate in the country (18.9%), also has one of the highest SNAP participation rates, with 18.5% of residents receiving benefits. This means cuts will disproportionately affect Louisiana. Error Rate Penalties: Based on FY 2023, Louisiana would face a 5 percent match requirement due to its 6 percent–8 percent error rate. This means Louisiana will have to pay 5% of SNAP benefit costs starting in 2028, shifting costs from federal to state government. Work Requirements Expanding: The bill expands work requirements to ages 55-64 and parents with children 14 and older, affecting thousands more Louisiana families. Rural Hospital Crisis Louisiana's rural hospitals face severe threats. Hospitals will bear some of the staggering costs of uncompensated care — estimated by the Congressional Budget Office to be $278 million. As the newspaper has documented, Louisiana will be among the states most affected. Rural hospitals and those that serve less advantaged populations who are already struggling — will be especially hurt. Economic Impact The cuts will have significant economic consequences for Louisiana: * Job losses in healthcare, food retail, and related industries * Reduced revenue for grocery stores, particularly in rural areas * Increased burden on state budget as federal funding decreases Timeline for Louisiana Residents * December 31, 2026: Medicaid work requirements begin * 2028: Louisiana must start paying 5% of SNAP costs due to error rates * Throughout 2026-2028: Gradual implementation of other cuts Louisiana residents should be particularly concerned because the state has both high Medicaid expansion enrollment and high SNAP participation rates, making it one of the states most affected by these cuts. The combination of rural hospital vulnerabilities and high poverty rates means Louisiana faces a "perfect storm" of negative impacts from this legislation.

So now that it’s been proven again, there is NO legislation that has been or will be passed before the midterms that need Democratic support…the Republicans are directly responsible for the train wrecks that this bill will undoubtedly cause. I don’t want to hear shit about any previous president or Congress. This is Trumps and the Republicans baby…I’m happy they have given birth to it.🍿🥤
