We arrived in Denver, CO behind schedule, but not too late to grab ramen across the street from Union Station. We’ll be in Denver visiting family for two days, before hopping on the next leg of our journey to Chicago.

The conductor just announced we will have no service for 2 hrs as we travel through the Colorado Rockies. Or as he put it “Get ready to go back to 1995.” We’ve got a good screen free project to keep us busy.

The most dangerous section of our commute home. A clear bike path means avoiding this fast road and dangerous left turn. When I was in W. Concord today, I spoke to another regular bike commuter who chose to drive because she feels unsafe on this section of road.

While we're on this subject, a shoutout to the hardworking @TownofConcord’s Public Works team! They did a great job on the roads and sidewalks after yesterday’s storm. Imagine if that care was extended to the Bruce Freeman—we just need the budget and permission to do it!

The Bruce Freeman Rail Trail is important transportation infrastructure—not just for my family, but for our whole community! It connects to village centers, businesses, schools, and provides the only safe, grade-separated crossing of Rt. 2 for miles in either direction!
