Tom Henderson states he's heard Gears of War E-Day has a development budget "of upwards of 400 million dollars" 👀
While I'm skeptical about the number, Tom's historically been very reliable.
If true it makes things even more precarious, especially as a console exclusive that will also be on Game Pass day one, hence face huge traditional sales cannibalisation.
Tom also shares his thoughts on strategies, as well as why the current piecemeal exclusivity strategy won't move the needle (which I've said myself previously).

Gears took a MASSIVE downgrade.
Its apparently "fully raytraced" using hardware raytracing....but i guess they were talking about the cutscenes.
But I guess yall dont wanna talk about it.

The clip is her recapping her background scaling services at Meta & Instacart to billions of users. She never claimed current Xbox players hit billions—that's the mix-up.
Xbox officially reaches hundreds of millions of players (not billions). She wants it to be the #1 gaming/entertainment company by 2030. Context matters.

So unlike woke game designers I read some of the comments and I redid the design.
Here’s another model I edited. Looks more like the actress, more realistic looking, more texture on her skin. I even toned down her makeup.
Still looks like a beautiful character and the actress in my opinion.
