People worry about overreliance on AI. But our recent research the same tendency to rely on AI can either improve or worsen decisions depending on the quality of the recommendation—and people don’t reliably distinguish between the two. psychologytoday.com/us/blog/…

One of the hidden costs of flexibility is the effort required to manage ambiguity. My latest Substack piece explores the difficulties of managing hybrid work boundaries. mattgrawitch.substack.com/p/…

That was a pretty spectacular outing by May. #stlcards

It appears that getting guys to second with less than 2 out is the kiss of death for this offense. Get a guy there with 2 outs, and the offense explodes. What's up with that? #stlcards

I think i have an idea to bring us back to the old days of ASG voting. You run it through the Ballpark App, where when you have a ticket to a game, you get to vote once that day through the app. None of this 5x per day eleventy times a week crap #stlcards

So @DairyQueen decides to have a Limited Time @Drumstick Blizzard for a "limited time" & then fails to actually make sure they ever have it available. It's a shame @ILoveBlueBell doesn't introduce something like this (and make it actually available). It would be one of the best!

Bullpen sucks. And Romera is freaking terrible at this point. Cardinals deserved to lose this series. And bullpen management wasn't good. Gotta reset something because there's no reason you lost 2 of 3 to a terrible team. #stlcards

And it looks like I was right. Bullpen imploded again.
I hate to say this, but not pinch hitting for Burly there was a mistake. I get why Oli didn't, but that may be one he regrets. I hope I'm wrong. #stlcards

You know, it's great when your team is never out of it. It's a lot less great when your team is winning, and no matter how wide the gap, it feels like the other team is never out of it. #stlcards

Kimd of funny, Oli gets tossed and Descalso wastes no time pulling Roycroft. Made me chuckle. #stlcards

This loss is squarely on the manager. Terribly managed from a pitching perspective. And Stanek sucks again! #stlcards

And the Cardinals offense picks up their managers failure to pull a clearly deficient starter. We'll done, boys! #stlcards

But then their manager decides to double down on stupidity.

Oli again mismanaging a Leahy start. He gave you 5. Be happy with that. The 6th was predictable. #stlcards

Well, damn, @C70, I already submitted my Cards Six, assuming Gorman would be starting tonight and Sunday.
The #STLCards are promoting infielder Blaze Jordan and optioning Nolan Gorman to AAA, per @dgoold Additionally, they sent RHP Hunter Dobbins to Memphis and recalled RHP Chris Roycroft 2026 has been rough for Gorman, to say the least. He is slashing .194/.279/.318 (.598 OPS) on the season Since May 20th, he has a 49% strikeout rate and a .265 OPS Jordan is slashing .313/.373/.548 (.921 OPS) in AAA this year

Thank God!
“Blaze Jordan may be an option at third after all.” The #STLCards used to see Blaze Jordan as unplayable at 3B He’s put in the work and gotten to the point where he’s been unofficially upgraded to “playable”
