20 Years Ago Today, the Falador Massacre glitch happened after Cursed You became the first player to achieve 99 Construction. During the event, many players were fighting in the house’s combat ring, a PvP area where player combat was allowed.

When the host kicked everyone out of the house because of severe lag, a bug caused some players to keep their PvP status after leaving. This meant they could attack anyone, anywhere, even in normally safe areas.
