Thank you Kenny! It was a labor of love for all of us! We loved our sport and cherished our friendship, so each week we were living a dream.

Those 3 along w/@DocPunchESPN were VERY instrumental in the Growth of @NASCAR late 80's through the 90's. It was much watch TV for the Winston Cup fans.. From Friday qualifying,to happy hours and everything in between. What a Fantastic broadcast team!! ✊👊🏁🏁🏆

90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18. Never forget that they paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We live our lives the way we do because of them.

Nobody explained NASCAR quite like Ned Jarrett. Remembering when he took a convertible on track to show the raw speed of Daytona. RIP.

Statement from MOTOR RACING NETWORK President – Chris Schwartz on the Passing of Ned Jarrett:   “Following a NASCAR Hall of Fame driving career Ned Jarrett transitioned to a decades long career in broadcasting laying the foundation for so many to follow. He joined the Motor Racing Network in 1978 initially serving as a pit reporter before moving to the booth. He anchored a daily radio program, “Ned Jarrett’s World of Racing”, for thirty-one years highlighting NASCAR’s best stories and brightest personalities. With his calming voice and attention to detail, Ned was one of motorsports great storytellers.  On behalf of everyone associated with the Motor Racing Network, I extend my deepest sympathies to Ned’s family and friends.”

Thanks Chris, we were so blessed to have so many amazing but also passionate journalists covering @NASCAR back then.

Think about the talent covering the sport in the late-80s into the early-2000s (including yourself, @John_KernanIND, Deb Williams, @JennaFryer and more). Not taking away from today’s media but these were the men and women who truly marketed NASCAR and motorsports to the masses.

Wishing Steve the best!! He always was one of the very best to ever cover our sport; and we had some amazing writers back in those days.
My friend @stevewaid is under the weather and won't be on the podcast this week. At this point, we're not quite sure when he might be able to return. Say a prayer for ol' Steve.

Maybe it doesn't mean much now, as #Pack9 lost its three postseason games at the end of retiring coach @Elliott_Avent's career. However, I hope the Old North State native and passionate coach of the Wolfpack eventually can find some joy in this: He is the only permanent men's or women's basketball, football or baseball coach in @PackAthletics history whose final victory at State was over North Carolina.

No… you don’t make that call with 2 outs in the ninth inning.
NC State's season ends on a pitch clock violation, as seen on ESPN. ⚾️😬

NC State HC Elliot Avent says that he'll remember Butch Thompson making sure that every Auburn player shook his hand as the game ended today. Avent ended his career after spending 30 years as the head coach of NC State.

30 years. 1,103 wins. Three College World Series. 24 NCAA Regionals. Elliott Avent gave everything to NC State baseball. He deserved a better ending. But no ending could diminish what he built. Thank you, Coach Avent! 🙏🏻💯🐺 #ThankYou9 #GoPack #NCState
